More than anything, I think this is TNT’s way of telling the SMC-favoring refs they are badasses.

It’s hard to not see the repercussions this event created but you have to wonder how Game 5 will shape up with this getting shoved to everyone’s skulls.

Chot Reyes flared up because of the calls, the non-calls, and the rotation buzzkill he suffered after Ali Peek, Nic Belasco, and Jimmy Alapag got tagged with two personal fouls. The Texters surrendered 14 free throws compared to Ginebra’s five.

I wonder if this incident will create a super playoff atmosphere come Sunday.
