The Statmonkey of the Day: November 19, 2010

Yes you saw it.

Darko Milicic’s pic is shown here.

The Statmonkey of the Day has led us to the "Darko" side.

If there is any team where Darko can shine, it has to be in Minnesota. Sure, the squad needs a makeover in the point guard spot and I hope Ricky Rubio decides to join the squad and Jonny Flynn can return from his injury because at this point, everything young right now in the NBA can be seen with the Timberwolves.

Kurt Rambis and the rest of the head honchos in the Twin Cities are seriously interested in Darko Milicic. Sure, he started his NBA season struggling. But while “struggling” has evolved to “inconsistent”, it seems Darko could have his best year as we speak. We have heard talks about Darko being the bust that he is but perhaps teams just don’t a give a damn about him.

The Timberwolves are giving a damn on Darko and in return he responded with 23 points, 16 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals, 6 blocks, and 40 minutes.

To complete the Top 5, Darko will share this with New York’s Raymond Felton and Amar’e Stoudemire, New Orleans’ David West, and San Antonio’s Tim Duncan.

Fantasy-related news, my team La Mesa Damn, clinched second spot. The bad news is that with only two games tomorrow, I just hope Eric Bledsoe and Duncan will do enough to protect that lead.

Game over.
