The Statmonkey of the Day: November 20, 2010

The Statmonkey of the Day is a rookie... for two years now.

After an initial rookie season spoiled by an injury, Blake Griffin could be the biggest threat to John Wall’s sure Top Rookie trophy.

If you don’t think Blake is eligible... check out the rookie year of David Robinson where after being draft first overall in 1988, he stayed to do his duties as a navy man.

Anyway, Blake Griffin had a career-high 44 points to go with 15 rebounds, 7 assists, 2 steals, and 1 block.

Aside from Griffin, other workers that made good were Charlotte’s Stephen Jackson, Atlanta’s Al Horford, New York’s Amar’e Stoudemire, and Miami’s Lebron James.

Game over.
