The Statmonkey of the Day: December 19, 2010

The Truth hurts!

I am sorry.

The Truth is, I made a wrong decision.

I decided to bench Paul Pierce because he had a couple of so-so games.

Since I play in a weekly league, I never thought that he’ll go berserk.

I will never doubt you again... unless you have 1 or 2 games in your schedule.

Anyway, Pierce led the Boston Celtics as they destroyed the Indiana Pacers, 99 to 88. Pierce posted a triple-double of 18 points, 10 rebounds, 12 assists, 4 steals, and a block in 35 minutes of action.

Other players who did well are those you never expect that would like Tayshaun Prince, Chris Paul (as expected in his case), Jose Calderon, and Grant Hill.

Game over!
