The Statmonkey of the Day: December 25, 2010

Christmas Day games hate the Lakers

Lebron James and the rest of the Miami Heat when to Staples Center and unloaded a strong message to Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers.

Number one, if the Heat makes it to the NBA Finals, they’ll bring it against the Lakers.

And number two; he is the Statmonkey of the Day!

LBJ scored 27 points, 11 rebounds, 10 assists, and 4 steals in his third triple-double this season to help beat the skidding Lakers, 96 to 80.

Also rising to the occasion are Kevin Durant, Monta Ellis, Derrick Rose, and Chris Bosh

Anyway, this could be the reason why Phil Jackson hates Christmas games.

If they can only win it, right?

Game over.
