The Statmonkey of the Day: January 21, 2011

Still San Antonio's main man.

The Statmonkey of the Day possesses a bunch of qualities that can catapult his team to excellence.

Sure, Timmy D isn’t a scoring juggernaut anymore, but he makes out for that problem in other facets.

Tim Duncan was two assists shy of a triple-double. Against the New York Knicks, the San Antonio Spurs frontman scored 21 points, hauled 16 rebounds, dished 8 assists, and swatted 5 shots.

Other top stars in that day were Dwight Howard, Zach Randolph, Amar’e Stoudemire, and DeJuan Blair.

Game over.
