The Statmonkey of the Day: January 3, 2011

There's no place like home.

When Hedo Turkoglu left the Orlando Magic, his game took a dive. Toronto failed to make him happy and the fans hated him for his partying endeavours. When he brought to Phoenix, he just couldn’t get his game going.

So when he was traded to the team he left, he promised to redeem himself.

He’s like Dorothy.

There is no place like home.

After his epic performance in the 2008 NBA Finals, Turk had his best game against the Golden State Warriors. Sure, their 110 to 90 win was at the expense of a mediocre squad, but Turkoglu played well by notching a triple-double. Officially his game stats were 10 points, 14 rebounds, 10 assists, and 5 steals.

Other players who did well were Carmelo Anthony, Dwight Howard, Lebron James, and Dwyane Wade.

Game over.
