Not quite

I wanted James Franco to win.

I found 127 Hours extremely gripping.

THE FILM MADE ME CRY AND IT’S NOT EVEN LAND BEFORE TIME!

CRY BASTARDS! CRY!!!

However, I found his chances bleak... especially since he is the host of the 83rd Oscars alongside Anne Hathaway.

I should watch the other movies that won. Sure, I have seen Toy Story 3 and Inception but I haven’t seen The Social Network and The Black Swan. I haven’t see the flicks mentioned because I know there is .MOV file somewhere that I can copy on my laptop. I have Slumdog Millionaire on my laptop but I have yet to see it. Will these films suffer the same fate? I think I need to see True Grit, The Fighter, and The King’s Speech. The King’s Speech hauled most of the top awards and while I am a fan of Colin Firth, maybe it’s about time to check out his other works. I’ve seen him in A Single Man, Shakespeare in Love, Love Actually, Pride and Prejudice, Bridget Jones’ Diary, and The Importance of Being Earnest...

I could see Winter’s Bone and The Kids are All Right but whiny lesbian films could suck.

But hey, what the hell!

If they suck, they shouldn’t have been nominated for an Oscar.

And Winter’s Bone isn’t a film about a lesbian.

It’s just a film about a strong-willed woman!

Plus I just discovered that Jennifer Lawrence will play Mystique in the next X-Men movie.

Anyway, maybe the MTV Awards would award Franco a Moon Man?

Game over.
