Gary David had a game-high 36 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists, and a
steal but it’s not enough to send the Powerade
Tigers to a win as they fall to the Barangay
Ginebra Kings, 92 to 107.
The
problem with Powerade is that Gary David is their only offensive option. Russell Carter was limited to 7 points
and while Celino Cruz and Sean Anthony have stepped up, it wasn’t
enough to subdue the balanced attack of the Kings.
Meralco’s Chris Ross and Macmac
Cardona, Talk N Text’s Kelly Williams and Ginebra’s Mark Caguioa also played well for their
respective squads.
In the
import battle, Champ Oguchi had a
promising debut and he almost gave Meralco their first win with his 43 points, 11 rebounds, 1 assist, and 1
block.
Game
over.
