The Statmonkey of the Day: March 5, 2011

Brook Lopez has been a fantasy dud for some time now. He barely gets big scoring nights and his rebounding isn’t as great as it was last season.

However, Lopez went wild in the New Jersey Nets’ 137 to 136 win over the Toronto Raptors. Aside from it being Deron Williams’ first win as a Net, Lopez had 34 points, 14 rebounds, 3 assists, and 8 blocks.

With this big game, he became the Statmonkey of the Day!

Hopefully his great game will continue in the near future.

Aside from Lopez, DeMarcus Cousins, Deron Williams, Blake Griffin, and Andrea Bargnani played exceptionally for their respective squads.

Game over.
