The Statmonkey of the Day: April 9, 2011

Drew Gooden’s NBA career has been a journey... literally.

Drifting from team to team, his nomadic career settled itself in Milwaukee – a team everyone thought would have another playoff run. However he was wobbled by injuries and with the Bucks out of the playoffs, he might use this as a chance to drift anew.

He is a good player though and a very helpful contributor. With the crappiness of this season, bliss still loomed. Gooden finally got a triple-double for the first time in his career. In their 108-101 win against the Cleveland Cavaliers, Gooden had 15 points, 13 rebounds, and 13 assists.

Ty Lawson, Goran Dragic, Chuck Hayes, and Raymond Felton played well for their respective squads.

Game over.
