WWE pays tribute to the Macho Man

It was no secret that Vince McMahon and Randy Savage never saw eye-to-eye. There was an alleged incident circulating around the internet but I rather not say it.

Anyway, WWE paid tribute to the Macho Man in the May 23, 2011 broadcast of Monday Night Raw, three days after succumbing to heart attack resulting to a single vehicle car accident.

This was a heart-warming treat for those who idolized the Macho Man. Indeed, the storied Savage versus Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat was one of the best matches in Wrestlemania history.

It was nice for Vince McMahon to give his former employee a tribute even if the Macho Man deserved better music than Coldplay’s The Scientist. Hopefully they will induct the Macho Man in the WWE Hall of Fame.

Sure, the WWE Hall of Fame is in some ways nonsensical given that they inducted Koko B. Ware and Drew Carey but this is the only way Macho Man’s legacy can be commemorated.

The Macho Couple is now complete in heaven with Macho reuniting with Miss Elizabeth. We could be experiencing the upgraded version of their Match Made in Heaven.

Ohhhhh Yeahhhhhhh!!!

Game over!
