Before surgery. |
Not
even the country’s best health care can save ex-President and now-Congresswoman
Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo from a botched surgery.
A
known work-nut, the first thing CGMA did was work which pretty much made her five-hour
cervical spine surgery last August 5
useless. She was rushed back to the St.
Luke’s Hospital after complaining of severe pain in the neck and shoulders.
For
some, this is vindication for the sufferings the 64-year-old ex-Head of State
needs to suffer upon. She hasn’t been cleared of all the graft and corruption
that happened in her regime. Hell, our current president, President Noynoy Aquino, could end his term contented by merely
disclosing all the abnormalities of her administration.
So
more than two decades of carrying the political burden (and her family) on her
back has literally made her back unstable? Well that sucks. This development
forced the doctors to do an emergency surgery to remove the dislocated titanium
implants on her backbone. Afterwards they will try to re-do the cervical spine
surgery and the doctors have advise whoever is in charge in CGMA’s daily
activities to shut her doors for most likely a month.
Hopefully
the second operation wouldn’t unearth more insane damages.
Maybe
she can go to India.
They
have a bunch of awesome medical practitioners in those regions.
Maybe
she’s familiar with that beautiful documentary called “The Dentist of Jaipur”?
Game
over.
According to Michel Tetrault, a Doctor of Chiropractic practicing in Makati, Gloria Macapagal Arroyo's spine surgery was totally unnecessary and her case would have been easily treated with Chiropractic.
